Project 3.0 documents the unfolding of a new business paradigm. Three guys with diverse talents take on a $300,000 renovation of a bare historic building without any financial resources whatsoever.
The goal of the renovation is to convert this abandoned building into a zero-energy structure — a completely self sustaining building. The show documents the progress of an open collaborative exchange of skills, goods and services resulting in the completion of the first phase of the project — from abandoned building to fully functional venue. The core team of three people is now over 50 strong and spans the range from start-ups to publicly traded companies.
