Design Futures Council Senior Fellow Alexander (Sandy) Pentland of MIT Media Lab has been named the director for the new Legatum Center for Development and Entrepreneurship at MIT. The $50 million fellowship program is aimed at creating a new class of business leaders from the developing world. The program provides financial support to aspiring entrepreneurs from developing nations to spend two years studying at MIT.
